Interventional Neuroradiology
DERIVO® Embolisation Device
Advanced flow diversion with unique visibility concept
The flow diversion technique with the use of embolisation devices placed in the parent artery is a new approach to treat intracranial aneurysms – especially fusiform and large ones with a wide neck.
These devices have a high vessel wall coverage and the ability to change haemodynamic forces and vectors in the segment bearing the aneurysm.
New generation of flow diversion:
- Unique X-Ray visibility
- 2.5mm to 6.0mm vessel diameter
- 3D Sizing Simulation
- True self-expansion
- Resheathability
- Improved corrosion resistance and lower thrombogenicity due to BlueXide surface finishing
Long lesions can now be treated by a single DERIVO® instead of using several devices in a telescoping technique.
Visible Adaptability
Unique X-Ray visibility as a result of radiopaque Nitinol Composite Wires and
three Platinum-Iridium X-Ray markers on both ends
Good vessel wall conformability based on special braiding properties
Excellent Clinical Performance
Secure wall apposition
Improved corrosion resistance and lower thrombogenicity1 related to BlueXide® Surface Finishing
